Why is it Good for your Skin?
Long story short: It contains chlorophyll, which exfoliates and cleanses the skin, it helps retain moisture and makes skin glow and feel smooth. It also helps eliminate bacteria, which will help prevent acne.
Whether you decide to consume spirulina powder or just use it for skin masks, choose carefully and make sure it is 100% pure and organic, because some brands mix it with other things to make it more “affordable” but it is not the same.
For this Mask You Will Need:
1 tsp. Pure Organic Spirulina Powder
1 tsp. Organic Raw Honey
½ tsp. Plain Unsweetened Yogurt
Simply combine the ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Wash your face with a gentle skin cleanser such as Cetaphil, and apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 20-30 minutes, then rinse it off.
